What this page is, and what it is not
Each entry below is read from the notice of the action published in the Official Journal, C series, and carries the date on which we read that notice. A notice proves that an action was brought. It does not tell whether the case is still before the Court today: we state a current status only once the case register has actually been read, and we date that reading.
We do not assess the pleas and we draw no consequence from them. Under Article 278 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union an action has no suspensory effect, although the Court may order that application of the contested act be suspended; this watch therefore follows decisions, not only new actions.
